ABOUT AMY

I am a qualified Beauty & Holistic Therapist based in Arbour Hill, Stoneybatter.

I completed my Beauty training with Coogan Bergin College of Beauty Therapy in 2004, holding diplomas in C.I.B.T.A.C  and C.I.D.E.S.C.O, the highest qualification available in the field of beauty therapy.

After qualifying I worked in top beauty salons in Dublin for several years gaining experience and knowledge in facials, massage, waxing, manicure, pedicure, tinting, make up, spray tanning, endermologie, electrolysis, & eyelash extensions.

I have travelled extensively in Asia in 2010 and have practised Reiki and Ayurvedic Massage in Rishikesh, India, Tibetan Massage in Himachal Pradesh, India and Balinese Massage in Bali, Indonesia. This inspired me to further investigate holistic therapies.

In 2011, I completed diplomas in Aromatherapy, Holistic & Pregnancy massage with the I.F.P.A, the largest organisation worldwide representing professional aromatherapists.

In 2013 I travelled to Chang Mai in northern Thailand to study Traditional Thai yoga massage, a form of therapeutic healing.

I hold Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 courses in India and Dublin respectively.

I hold a diploma in Reflexology from the Holistic College of Dublin with the grade of distinction.

I took a keen interest in making my own natural products some years ago and my background in aromatherapy proved to be very useful. I love blending oils for therapeutic properties and creating new scents. This led me to create Wildflower Organics, a bespoke, natural skincare range. The emphasis has and always will be on handmade, natural, sustainable products, using local ingredients. At the beginning of 2014 I travelled to Scotland to further my knowledge on product making.

In January of 2015, I travelled to the south of India to study Sivananda yoga, a form of hatha yoga. I had four intense weeks of teacher training where upon completing the 200 hours and passing a practical and theory exam I received internationally recognised certification by the worldwide yoga alliance for the 200 hours standard Registered Yoga Schools (RYS).

In February  2017 I completed my 500 hr Vinyasa flow yoga teacher training in India.
